So Saturday rolls around and

So Saturday rolls around and I honestly didn't believe Felicia was gonna make it. I didn't actually find out about the shots until Sat morning. It was eerie being the responsible tour guides while my aunts were let loose on the big city. Boy, I am making myself sound so mature. Well, if Marg or Felicia want to refute my version they can start their own Blog. Margaret called Drunk Suzanne and surprise surprise nobody answered. Margaret, though the cruel light of day shed light on the probability of Drunk Suzanne being able to actually deliver Michael D, was a little disappointed. I really don't understand why people do that. If you think about it, light a candle for D.Suzanne. She looked like she was living a really sad life.

We finally walk out the door at about 2pm in search of Zena. Here's the thing about Zena. My aunts aren't really sure where she was. All they remember is that they were on their way to some piers (I am guessing South Street Seaport.) They decided not to go there and turned a different way. The cab driver let them out somewhere (Margaret says the Village, Felicia says not.) and there she was; Zena the Clairvoyant. She had a stained glass door that was caddy corner to the street and they had dinner somewhere near where she was. That is the info we had to go on that Saturday morning. So we went into the city and promptly started looking for a place to have lunch. We found an Asian place we thought served spring rolls like the amazing ones at Mai's in Houston. They didn't but the food was great anyway. After lunch we walked about the village in search of Zena, but alas to no avail. We walked and walked. I never did the math but I would venture we walked about 2 miles throughout the day. I was very impressed with both of my aunts and their stamina. I attribute it to the sturdy genes of our forefathers. Felicia did have some trouble as she was wearing her shiny, classy shoes and not her I'm in New York comfortable shoes. So in addition to searching for Zena, we began searching for a pair of shoes for Felicia...I then took them on a shoe tour of Soho. That's alot of shoes I can tell you. Still no Zena. So it's Saturday and I still hadn't made good on any of my aunts' objectives for their funfilled NYC trip. Maybe NOBU would come through.
