I'll Never do My Taxes

I'll Never do My Taxes AGAIN!

Well, at least not by myself. I went to a tax professional for the first time in my life on Friday, April 12 and I am now a true believer. While my accountant's bill was pretty exhorbitant, it was well worth it. She knew a lot of tricks of the trade that I never would have picked up on my taxes. Though I owed her a significant amount of money, my tax refund (that I probably wouldn't have gotten without her expertise) more than covers it. And the beauty of it is, I don't have to worry about getting it in and deciphering the complex Tax jargon. This is probably the first time in about 3 years that I haven't filed an automatic extension.

Mom's on Blogger
I finally get to be a Cyber landlord myself...or at least middle management. After speaking with mom about a week or so ago, I got the impression that she might like to have her own journal. I got this impression largely because she responded in the affirmative with excitement when I asked if she might ever want her own blog. She always gets such a kick out of mine and Jenny's and Stepan's blogs I thought she might want her own sounding board. So I set her up on this website. Stay tuned for an official link to her page on the site. For now, check out the GalleRita for insights into mom.
