Surreal Life

All I can say is that it is really weird when Sandy Duncan calls you on your cell phone and acts like you've been friends since way back. And I am sitting there on the phone thinking...."Who do I know named Sandy Duncan that I can't remember?" and then "Someone is playing a hoax on me." and then..."Hey, this sounds like the Sandy Duncan." Turns out she thought I was Ann's old assistant named Meredith. What're the odds?

I take it back. There is one other thing to say. There are some really neat people coming to my party....but more on that one later....

I think I was 14 and staying the summer with Kathleen in Houston. That is where I met the Sandy Duncan lookalike. Just ask Kathleen...she will tell you about her.

Do you remember when we were little and all our aunts sounded the same on the telephone? And they'd call up and never identify themselves, and it was a race between us figuring out which one we were speaking to and them figuring out we were faking it. Sounds like it was good training for this call from Ms. Duncan.

ok...so she (SD) is from Henderson Tx, which is 50 miles away.

Kathleen had a friend that looked just like Sandy Duncan? Why don't I remember that? She had a friend whose grandmother lived in Tyler, which is Sandy's hometown.

That is interesting. Another thought came to mind while reading your entry. Kathleen used to have or still does have a friend that looked exactly like Sandy Duncan. She could have been a double for her without any problems at all!

1. I got my t-shirt and I love it.

2. Is that a big marker tease, or what?
Who else is coming to your party? Is
Sandy Duncan coming?
