Wild Night is Calling
Last night I had another great time in the city. I met a goldsmith, an artist and a Chilean hula hoop dancer. I listened to a friend play accoustic guitar with an upright base at a cozy SoHo restaurant and Latin fusion house music with live drums at a loft party. I spent time with my friend and future apple-picking partner in crime, KF, and the the record producer who is still handsome, still genteel and a very good dancer. I ran into my ex-roommates ex-boyfriend and noticed his hair is thinning. I wore a sexy slit high on one leg salsa dress my sister gave me; a dress I haven't been able to wear for about 5 years but was, according to said record producer's reaction, well worth saving and not at all out of season in this chilly weather. I took three cabs, and a bus and was forever greatful for whomever it was who mentioned to me a few weeks ago that I should keep an "emergency $20" in the side folds of my wallet. I was driven to my door step and walked to my door at 4:00 am. I called Magnum at 4:15 but he was deep in the throes of sorting tips for the day during the notorious "Bike Week".
I woke up at 9:12am to walk my dog. I may order a pizza. I may be invited to the artist's art show opening at Java Jazz tonight.
Have I mentioned how much I love the Autumn.

I like the site links. On the goldsmith's site, I especially liked his Enso collection.
What dress did I give you? I don't remember!
