Why a Karl should never vote Bush
Based on a recent quote from George Bush in an article where he pretends he has helped our economy, I don't see how a single person with any Karl or McCollough genes in their body could even consider voting for GWB. Look at the following:
"The economy is getting stronger," Bush said from an outdoor stage at a family-owned company, Rain for Rent, an irrigation system business. "One of the reasons why I think we're doing so good here in America is because of the tax relief we passed, is because people have more money in their pockets."
Good is an adjective and can't modify a verb you dope! My Grandma taught me that when I was 3. So much so that when I hear people use good or well incorrectly I have to correct it in my head because it so wrong!!!
Come on, Kathleen. Margaret. You know what I'm talkin' about.

Sorry to use this to communicate with you. I didn't see ur contact info on ur blog.
I liked your blog at mermu.net/ithought and I have added it to my favorite blog list on my website www.manhattan.com. I screened approximately 700 blogs related to New York or by New Yorkers and selected only about 70 of them.
I also grew up in Texas (Houston) and went to school in UT Austin.
I request that you add a link to www.manhattan.com at appropriate location on your website.
I recently started Manhattan.com. It is a website focused on greater New York and it relates to the residents of and the visitors to New York. The website contains content and opinion on art, culture, fashion, entertainment, restaurants and other finer ideas and lifestyle that the wonderful and amazing residents of New York care about.
The website, as of now, is a humble beginning.
If you have any comments, opinions or questions then please do not hesitate to email me at any time.
Best regards,
Qayyum Hafeez

I can honestly say I've never misused (sp?) the word good in a sentence, but Kathleen, especially Kathleen can attest to the fact I had a really bad habit of ending a "Where question with the word at". It didn't take me too long to learn to correct that error, because her answer to my question was always between the a and the t!

From somewhere on the web: "Good" also has been used as an adverb since the 14th century. It's archaic now, surviving in a few stock phrases such as "as good as" and in some dialects and slang uses.
As a Southerner, you should be used to hearing "good" used that way. Still, I think Dubya either doesn't know or care about the difference, or he's trying to appeal to the NASCAR dads...
