Easy Pickings

George Bush just made his second pick for Supreme Court Justice. Member of White House Counsel, Harriet Miers, has been nominated by Bush as the best person to fill the job. At this early stage in the process, it's really hard to determine how effective Ms. Miers may or may not be as a Justice. The only thing really that we know is that she has never been a judge and is considered a longtime "confidant" of Pres. Bush.

So: little or no experience and a good friend of GWB. This is sounding strikingly familiar.
