To the Democratic National Committee

I am a frustrated democrat. I just saw the Virginia governor's counterstatement to the State of the Union. A more wooden, canned, non-organic speech I have not seen. He seemed nervous and disengenuous. This election and future elections are not about parties. I would say the Republican party has been hijacked by knee-jerk, fiscally irresponsible, dishonest people. George Bush has made a career out of saying one thing and doing another. He boldly calls for the repression of discourse and compromise under the guise of a call for "civility". He speaks of the quest for Freedom and Democracy while surreptitiously and actively supressing them in "Back-alley" wire-tapping like a common criminal.

What are all these Democrats afraid of? You must stand up! If not for your party, then how about for your country? Parry those false calls for "civility" with louder calls for honesty and truth.

Americans deserve no less be they Democrat or Republican.
